know how Harry Potter series has touched its fans' lives in so many ways imaginable but pa-leasee, it's fictional. What did they expect?
I'm not gonna say the cliche 'it's just a book' 'coz I hate the damn phrase, it lessens the significance of series itself. That's unfair to other fans & JKR. I respect her, I envy her ability & absolutely obsessed with her books. Well, I got an A from term paper about HP and why it's so popular after all!!
Those people whining about HBP seriously need to rethink why they're in the fandom in the first place. They said 'I loveee Harry Potter!' so, they have to love whatever happenin the story, right? -Wrong- I admit, I've hated more than one character at some point as I read but, I still like the books, I've read them all and I WILL, no doubt, read book 7th.
^I worship 'freedom of speech' as much as the next person, if not more, but you've crossed the line when you started to make troubles for others or stir an endless arguments to piss others off! *posting spoiler in communities/forums are sick. And when you get flamed, shut the f**k up! you totally had it coming!
I'm not the type to persuade people to think like me: they will believe what they want, regardless to others' opinions. So, why bother? I don't actually, this time I pissed off because I saw 100s of 'Harry Potter fans are crazy, insane, ridiculous!' posts and trust me, I saw over one hundred. Even famous websites have special sections for these wankers who made the rest of us 'psychos'. There's a post claiming 'the poster & friends are leaving the fandom because they can write better than JRK' [WTF!] - and I can only *wish* they were kidding!
Some people are just too damaged [inthehead!] to get helped :shrug:
